This is a very fine rendition of a Bob Loveless Semi-Skinner blade made in AUS-4 at 55-57 Rc. Russ Kommer, like most modern knife designers knows where to go for inspiration where blade shapes are concerned.

Russ designed this knife for himself. He lives in Alaska, and like most Alaskans, he is a serious hunter. The result is a straight forward skinner for big game. He knows what it takes for caribou, moose or bear. The handle is textured Zytel® over 420J2 stainless liners with Teflon® washers at the pivot.

This is one really smooth knife. The 3-5/8" semi-skinner blade will take a razor edge and hold it for a good while. This is a serious knife and the price and value is outstanding. Measures 5" closed and weighs 3.4 oz.
