The CRKT 6783N has a 8Cr14MoV stainless steel blade with Razor-Sharp and Triple-Point Serrated blade, plus the Lake And Walker Knife Safety (LAWKS®), which makes the folders virtual fixed blades when actuated. Using CRKT's heavy duty InterFrame build, with 420J2 stainless steel liners, black Zytel® scales, and 6061 T6 hard anodized aluminum back spacers.

The Crawford/Kasper Black model is based on their very popular Pat Crawford/Bob Kasper folder. The CL-6783N receives a grey / black treatment, with grey Teflon® blade plating, black liners and hardware, and finally grey Teflon plating on the clip. Bob Kasper developed the Crawford/Kasper to be very flat so it does not print the pocket. The clip is mounted near the edge for minimal knife exposure when clipped inside the pocket or trousers. Each design feature has a clear purpose in Kasper's tactical training sessions.
