With brass Corby rivets that fits without any gap.

Handles scales are pre-shaped

Red vulcanfiber glued

You only have to glue, tighten the bolts, grind them down and make your own finish.

Upgrade the Knife Steel
You can upgrade the blade steel in your kit from the standard AUS8 Steel to

O1 Steel - A widely used American Carbon knife steel
D2 Steel - One of the best knife steels. It is a tool steel and has very good hardness and wear resistance, while still maintaining some rust resistance due to high Chromium content
