Handmade Finnish Survival / Bushcraft Chopping & Hunting Double Knife. This is a fine piece of handcraft made in Finnish Lapland in a traditional style.

The handles are made from a combination of curly birch, other natural coloured wood, thin layers of reindeer leather and reindeer antler.

The sheath is made from cow hide leather. It is attached to a very strong Reindeer leather belt hanger.

The blades are 8.3 inches (21 cm) and 3.0 inches (7.7cm) respectively, are very sharp and both made from high quality Carbon Steel Hardened to HRC 63-65 and tempered to HRC 59 to balance ductility and brittleness. The blades extend with full length internal tangs connected at the end of the handle.

Easy to carry multi-tool: There are several situations where both a smaller and a bigger knife are useful. The longer knife, used like a slick machete for cutting down smaller trees, chopping branches and shaping wood is a handy alternative to an axe in many situations. Whilst the smaller knife is a convenient all-purpose bushcraft knife size for precision work such as carving, food preparation or skinning game.
