A single Selected Laburnum Knife Handle Block, ideal for Scandi block or for re-sawing to make bookmatched scales.

Laburnum is a very beautiful timber with a distinctive contrast between early and late growth. A golden/olive brown colour with darker brown streaking. A fairly fine textured hard and dense wood with a lustrous surface which works well with sharp tools and takes a good finish.

Typical moisture content around 12%

Minimum size 28mm x 43mm x 140mm
