The SOG Trident Monogram, model TF-9, is a limited edition where only 1000 knives will be produced. The blade of this knife is acid etched in combination with a TiNi coating.
What's cool about the Trident is that it is a spring assisted knife that uses the SOG Assisted Technology to open the blade when the user initiates the thumbstud. The blade is locked using SOG's Arc-Actuator. The Arc-Actuator's claim to fame is that the blade locks up stronger and releases easier. The handle of the SOG Trident is unique because it has a groove that exposed a small section of the blade. This enables the user to cut small things like cord without opening the knife.
